Talk  about  Osmand  Charpentier  Jr.  is  synonimous  of  innovation, development, productivity, entrepreneurship and social impact. Is currently Founder, Owner, President and Business Developer of TECHGROOP, S.A. a group of panamanian start ups and companies with global projection. He has 10 years of banking and international business experience and another 10 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, specifically in the fixed and mobile markets deployment and roll out mixed with a succsessfull international business and trading career.   In addition to his acummulated experience he have a solid academic formation in management and entrepreneuship, got his degree in Business Aministration, Finance and International Business at the University of Panama, as well a Sam M. Walton College of Business, Arkansas University U.S.A. entrepreneuship specialization.

 

When he was in school, Colegio Javier, he started his first entrepreneur experiences selling himself made stickers and candies, also videogames resale among neighbors and classmates. Later during his first university years in medicine, he developed a successfull customized bookmarks and self made religious icon art micro business. He realized that medicine was not his real interest so after 2 years he jumped to the Business and Management faculty. To pay for the tuition he planned a new small business in music production founding the editing company Tesoros de Panama. As music executive producer he successfully launched 3 panamanian music CD into the market called Pasillo Panameños Series. 

 

After university graduation he started his profesional career in several local and international private banking institution as auditor, investment officer and credit manager, but he realize that such economic stability, lived for several years, was not enough for his entrepreneur spirit, so he jumped to his first biggest entrepreneuship project in telecommunication industry founding the company Technoelectromecanica y Telecommunicaciones, (TECHTELC). As TECHTELC founder, owner and CEO he developed new ways of services to its customers and gradually held projects up to US$100Million, coordinating local and regional nationwide infrastructure roll out projects of several vendors like Ericsson, Nokia/Siemens, ZTE, Huawei, Alcatel/Lucent and regional market substantial power operator clients like Cables & Wireless, Telefonica, Claro among others related to design, civil works, installation, commisioning and maintenance projects on interconnection, fixed, mobile, new generation networks and also spectrum auctions. 

 

He also worked in the development of innovative and state of art technologies excellence training centers for Verizon, U.S.A having the opportunity to open the first panamanian technology company as branch representation offices in Beijing, China and developing the business idea to get involved in product sourcing and trading between Asia and Latinamerica, founding new companies like Furnitech, Techwei and Ztech group of companies under TECHGROOP holding based in Albrook Free Trading Zone Panama in a 3K sqm facility.

 

Analizyng better opportunities in telecom market one of his last entrepreneurship business ideas was to open INNOVATECH, a WISP Broadband Nationwide Network Operation in Panama with McWiLL TD‐SCDMA Chinese Technology and use this network to provide a platform for new software and app startups spreading in the latinamerica region. Also is supporting his father investigation on OCEANOGENIC POWER a clean energy start up.

 

He also is Cultural Manager, he took again the roll of Music Producer founding with his uncles the editing company Charpentier, S.A. to record new music works starting with the National Symphony Orchestra making a new music CD series called Nuestra Musica Sin Fronteras Series getting good critics and rating on international songwriting and music production contest.
